實車介紹

●ヨ8000形是為了取代舊有的車掌車與有蓋緩急車，於 1974年登場的新型車掌車，其外觀特色是以コキフ50000形的車掌室為基礎設計。

●即使在國鐵末期廢除了貨物列車連掛車掌車的制度，該型車仍因應特大貨物列車等需求，至今仍有少數車輛在使用。
