●E8系列車自2024年3月起開始運行，為山形新幹線的新型列車。

●主要用途為取代 E3 系列車，並可於宇都宮～福島區間以最高時速 300km/h 行駛，大幅提升運行效率。

●預計至 2026 年完成15 編成列車的導入。
